Description
Controlled cool fermentation leads to a wine that opens with a blast of Pink Grapefruit and hints of banana. This wine exhibits a unique full mid-palate coming from extended lees contact and finishes with lemon zest and minerality.

"Whoa, this bursts from the starting gate with a gush of grapefruit,lime, melon, tarragon and jasmine. As is typical of X's ES Vineyard Sauvignon Blancs, the texture is seductively dense, almost lush, but its saved from a rep for being too easy by chiming acid and a bracing note of grapefruit bitterness on the finish. Before that point, though, savor the leafy, curranty flavors of lime peel, pear and citrus. This wine is made from the musque clone of sauvignon blanc, known for its floral fragrance. Exquisitely refreshing.
